We also recommend that the initial appointment is a parent-only appointment, so that your clinician will have the chance to talk openly about your concerns.

Please note that we are not a bulk billing clinic, and as a result, there will be out-of-pocket costs associated with our services. The cost will depend on which psychologist you book with. Medicare requires you to pay the full fee, and then we lodge it for a rebate of $93.35 which Medicare refunds back into your account within 1 business day. We also require a deposit of $100 to confirm your initial appointment, which is non-refundable. Our company policy is that we process appointment fees one business day before your appointment via a nominated debit or credit card. Therefore, we will need to keep a credit card on file.

“Please be aware that if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we require at least two full business days’ notice. This gives us enough time to offer the appointment to another client and allows them time to arrange their day to come in.

If you cancel with 2 days’ notice, 50% of the Psychologist's fee will apply.

If you cancel with less than 1 business days’ notice or do not attend your appointment, the full fee (100%) will apply.

If for some reason you are unable to attend face to face, we will always offer TeleHealth so you don't miss out on therapy. We also from time to time will waive the fee if there has been an emergency but we are only able to do this on one occasion.
