Meet Kate
Kate is a warm, down-to-earth psychologist who loves connecting with adolescents and adults from all walks of life. With experience supporting clients through the challenges of anxiety, depression, and everyday stresses, Kate’s approach is grounded, empathetic, and entirely focused on each person’s unique journey.

Kate doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method. Her sessions are a space for clients to feel truly seen, heard, and empowered to take charge of their own lives. She’s all about meeting you where you’re at, working collaboratively to explore your experiences, and unpacking the thoughts and feelings that shape your world. Therapy can be tough, but with Kate, you’re not alone. She gets that vulnerability can be hard, and she’s dedicated to building a safe, trusting relationship where you can feel comfortable to dig deep.

Kate draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), blending these with a bit of psychoeducation to keep things practical and relatable. She’s all about empowering clients with insights and tools they can use day-to-day, tailored to fit your personal style and life. No cookie-cutter solutions here—just real, useful strategies to support you on your path.

As she gets back into assessment work, Kate’s also excited to dive into cognitive and academic assessments, bringing her same supportive and understanding approach to help clients better understand their strengths and challenges.

 

Outside the therapy room

“As someone who grew up on a farm in rural Victoria with lots of pets, I am a big lover of animals! At the moment I am renting and only own two cats, but I am hoping to expand into chickens, dogs, reptiles, and aquatic animals in the future!

Other than chilling with my cats, I spend much of my free time playing cozy video games on PC or Switch, streaming TV shows, or cooking (I love Italian, Mexican, and Indian cuisine especially). I also enjoy walking in scenic places – especially surrounded by lots of nature or greenery. My goal for 2025 is to try and get into a consistent gym schedule.”
