Andrew Franze
Provisional Psychologist
“Sometimes your joy is the source of your smile, and sometimes your smile is the source of your joy.” – Thich Nhat Hanh
Andrew is a Provisional Psychologist who is passionate about building authentic relationships with clients as they walk in their journey toward wellbeing and healthy living. He uses a practical approach to meet clients where they are at and helps them to process how they, a unique 1 of 1 person, interact with their specific environment around them.
He utilises a range of therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Unified Transdiagnostic Protocol (UP), Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Psycho-education. He has a keen interest for assessment and intervention among ADHD/ Autism populations, working with clients with sleep difficulties, and working with clients who are seeking to establish valued- living goals. He also has a history of working in the men’s mental health area. He has also published research on the novel ways to interact with AI in relation to mental wellbeing.
Andrew strongly believes in a client-centred collaborative approach to therapy, where clients are regarded as the experts of their lived experience. He believes in speaking to clients in very relatable and easy-to-understand ways rather than using ‘psychology jargon.’ He will be his authentic self in the room!

When outside of the therapy room, he enjoys exercise, camping, travelling, catching up with friends, and finding the best spots for coffee around town!

Andrew is also a huge stand-up comedy fan and can list you most of the top comedians, he spends quite abit of his downtime laughing!
